Why a Website?

In order to be of service to others, they first need to know how to find you…But first you need to find yourself.

I feel like I’ve always had BIG ideas, every since I was little. I also can remember having the feeling of disconnect from my name “Ashley”. I requested my parents to call me “Nicole” at a certain point, but only on certain days of the week. I remember scribbling other names in my diary… “Apple” was one of those gems. But somewhere along growing up and becoming an adult, the idea that I didn’t fit my name always stuck.

So what’s wrong with “Ashley”? Nothing, it has a beautiful meaning of growing or dwelling in the ash or meadow of a tree grove. Historically, it’s also masculine. But somewhere along the way, I got an idea in my head that “Ashley” was boring, run of the mill, like everyone else and that those ideas and concepts weren’t okay.

And years later, I’ve come to say that’s just not true. It took tears, reflection, meditation, and the right tribe (Soul Sister Love) to feel more connected to myself.

The website is in honor of acknowledging myself and my name and reconnecting to the meaning of feeling rooted into the earth and anything but boring.

In order to fulfill those BIG ideas, I need to share them, let people connect to me, and how else can they do that unless they know my name. So stay tuned for BIG ideas, vulnerability, showing up and connecting. Let the process continue…
